Artist Takeover - Festival Showcase

Partners came together to showcase their work and projects for one day at the Dugdale Arts Centre.

As the Festival of Industry draws to a close, partners joined together to create a day of creativity and community engagement, offering free workshops, exhibitions and performances for local residents. We had over 400 residents who participated in the event with many positive responses and shared experiences enjoyed by all.

Activities on offer included:

• Designing your own tiles and learning about Enfield’s ceramic industries with Doodle Designs.

• Exploring Colour workshops and the chance to create your own colour stories with Colour Your City.

• Experiments in art and drawing including animation by Tiger Monkey UK Ltd.

• Digital exhibition ‘Workers of Tomorrow’ by artists DYSPLA on AI and the future of industries.

• Live performances by children’s theatre company Chickenshed.

• Artist Dan Maier from Extraordinary Design showcasing her latest commission.

• Ceramicist Owen Wall and sharing his work and his upcoming installation.

• An interactive photography workshop with Pinhole London

• Work shown by artist Maeve Laurence by AiR.
